About Andrew P. Matera

Andrew earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University and went on to graduate from New England School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in 2014.

Prior to joining The Barry Law Firm, Andrew honed his legal skills working with reputable law firms and organizations throughout his career. His experience spans across multiple practice areas including civil litigation, corporate law, regulatory law, and civil rights.

In addition to his legal practice, he is an active member of the American Bar Association and the California Lawyers Association, where he regularly participates in legal seminars and stays up to date with the latest developments in his practice areas.

Andrew grew up in New York and New Jersey where he developed a strong sense of justice and fairness. His upbringing instilled in him a passion for helping others and a desire to make a positive impact through the practice of law. His passion for the law was sparked when he realized that the quality of our everyday lives is largely shaped by the laws that govern how we interact with the world and one another. He was inspired to become a lawyer to protect the rights of those in need and to help improve the law to achieve more fair and just results.

What he loves most about his job is the opportunity to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. He finds great satisfaction in advocating for his clients’ rights, seeking justice, and achieving favorable outcomes on their behalf.
